Abbi Franklin, who is a 50-year-old mother of two, was thrilled when she was asked to show her ID when she visited a convenience store for cigarettes.
She said the guy behind the register was initially concerned about her age.
However, after the cashier insisted that she show her ID, she was able to purchase tobacco.Her daughters, who are 17 and 23, were with her at the time.As she was leaving the store, the cashier asked Abbi to show her ID.She was thrilled and said it was her best day ever.She added that she usually doesn’t take her ID with her when she goes out.
However, this was the first time she was asked to show it.
