A mom has made the astonishing claim that drunken fans pushed her eight-year-old cancer survivor daughter down the stairs at her first ever NFL game.
The shocking incident is said to have taken place this past Sunday, December 1, and involves Buffalo Bills fans, who are being criticized online for the interaction.
The girl in question was little Mia DeCamilla, in attendance at the Bills vs San Francisco 49ers game with her parents. Yet Mia, a survivor of embryonal sarcoma, found herself pushed down the stairs by a group of drunken Bills fans, according to her mother, Mikey.
Mikey DeCamilla took to social media to vent her frustrations, with her post including an image of Mia holding a sign that reads: “I BEAT CANCER! MY FIRST NFL GAME!”
“Sadly we left earlier than planned,” Mikey wrote on Facebook. “Yes, the Niners are losing, but unfortunately we had to deal with the police because a drunk Bills fan decides it was cool to pass my husband and I and pushed our eight year old daughter Warrior Mia DeCamilla (down the stairs, in section 312!).”
The distraught mother continued: “If you are this type of Bills Mafia fan please unfollow our family now.!!!!! Also, I hope the a**hole who thought it was cool to push a kid that stood in the cold with her cancer free sign was so worth your win!”
Unsurprisingly, Mikey’s post quickly went viral online, in no small part due to the heartbreaking nature of her accusations.
Meanwhile, a GoFundMe established by Mia’s family to raise money while she was battling cancer has resurfaced. At the time of writing, close to $34,000 has been raised.
The GoFundMe reads: Mid January 2022, Mia was diagnosed with Childhood undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver. Mia completed 4 months of presurgery chemo. On May 23rd, 2022 Mia had a 12 hour long surgery to resect her liver. Mia then followed surgery with 8 weeks of chemo to finally reach remission on July 25th.“
It later adds: “To ease the family of financial stress and make each day a bit easier to pay for food in hospital, fuel, bills, mortgage, I am asking for any donations that are all so very appreciated.
We all love you Warrior Mia DeCamilla. 💪🏼🥲 Keep shining bright baby one. #childhoodcancerawareness

“While we as outsiders feel helpless and can’t do alot to support the family, this is the biggest and best way we can support them and help them through this journey once again. Any donations made go directly to Mia’s family to put where they need. With both of Mia’s parents being Marine Corps veterans, and her mom currently out of work to care for Mia, any support that they receive will be invaluable.
“Mia is so strong, brave, resilient, kind, beautiful and will show cancer who is boss once and for all!”
We’re sending all our prayers and love to the DeCamilla family at this time!
