Goldie Hawn said that the charm of L.A. no longer appeals to her after two scary incidents at their home. As crime rates in L.A. rise, even their home wasn’t safe. Goldie talked about this on Kelly Ripa’s ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera’ podcast and revealed that she plans to move out of the city after experiencing two break-ins in a short period of time.

Goldie Hawn shared that she and her longtime partner, Kurt Russell, have been considering where to move next. They think Palm Desert might be a good choice because it feels safer than L.A., which they now find “terrible.”
Goldie talked about two break-ins that happened at their home. In both cases, robbers tried to get onto their property. One group actually succeeded and went through their rooms.

She described the robbery, saying, “They completely knocked down my door, which was supposed to be secure. They were very sophisticated and got a lot of my valuables.”

After the couple tried to move on from the first robbery, they experienced another one just four months later. This made Goldie Hawn realize that L.A. might not be the right place for her. The incidents scared her so much that she’s always on edge and can’t fully relax.
Goldie Hawn’s home isn’t the only one targeted by burglars. In 2024, several other well-known people, including King Bach, Corinna Kopf, Farrah Aldjufrie, and Patrick Patterson, also had their homes robbed.
